How can we help?
Common questions below. If you need anything else, email us directly — we read every message.
Lope reads your Apple Health data daily. Activities like steps, workouts, runs, sleep, stand hours, mindfulness, and active energy each earn you minutes of scroll time. Open the app to see your balance and which activities contributed today.
Make sure Lope has permission to read from Apple Health. Go to Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Lope and enable all categories you want to track. Data is synced once per day, so recent activity may not appear immediately.
Open Lope and go to the Customise section. Tap "Choose Apps" to select which apps Lope should block when you're not in an active session. These are the apps you'll need to spend scroll time to unlock.
Yes. Tap the pause button on the Lope widget on your Home Screen. The timer will pause and blocked apps will show a "session paused" screen. Tap "Resume Scrolling" on that screen to continue.
Balances reset at midnight based on the previous day's activity. If you haven't opened Lope yet today, try pulling to refresh on the main screen. Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled for Lope in iOS Settings.
Session history is stored locally and backed up via iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on your new device and that iCloud Drive is enabled — your data should restore automatically.
End any active session in Lope first, then go to Settings → Screen Time. You can also delete the app entirely — this removes all Screen Time restrictions Lope has set.
